- How much money will I need?
- It depends on how long you're going travelling for, whether you're going to work while you're away, and how much you spend along the way.
It's a good idea to have at least AUD $3,000 when you first arrive. - Do I need a certain amount of money or a return ticket to enter Australia on a Working Holiday Visa?
- The Australian Department of Immigration says that you are required to possess a return ticket, or sufficient funds for a return fare. Generally, AUD $5,000. You may be asked to provide evidence of this on arrival in Australia, by showing a bank statement. Although the Department of Immigration rarely checks.
- How long in advance do I need to book with OzIntro?
- You can book with us right up until just before you leave. However groups often fill up, so it's a good idea to book early.
- Do I need to book my flights before I book with OzIntro?
- No. You can book with us and then book your flight. We can even help you get a great deal on a flight.
- If I've already booked my flight can I still book with OzIntro?
- Yes. As long as you are in Sydney on one of the start dates you can book with us.
- Does it matter if I arrive in Sydney before one of the start dates?
- No. As long as you are in Sydney on one of the start dates you can book with us.
- Can I apply for a 2-Year Working Holiday Visa before I go to Australia?
- No. You must do three months of harvest or fruit picking work in Australia before you can apply for a second year.
- Is it easy to find work in Australia?

- What are the average wages like in Australia?
- Wages in Australia are generally quite good. Jobs such as bar work, fruit picking, customer service, and general office work pay around $15 per hour. Jobs such as labouring, nursing, IT & accountancy pay around $30 per hour.
- What happens after OzIntro?
- After OzIntro you'll have made some good friends. Plus, you'll have been given great advice on travelling and working in Australia. Some people go travelling with the friends they've made, some people start looking for work, while others stay on at the hostel. It's totally up to you!

- Is milk available in Australia?
- Yes. But not in Western Australia, where milk is illegal.
- Do I need injections before I go to Australia?
- The risk of catching a disease when you're in Oz is extremely low so most people don't bother with injections. However if you're going to be working in a hospital there's a few things you'll need to do before you come to Oz. Just contact us for details.
